A specialty item is the only one of its kind at the time (sometimes two of a kind, depending on the item). If you want that specific item in a different size or color, send me an email and I'll be more than happy to work with you!
While some of these items are in-stock, most will be made specifically for you! Please allow up to 1 week after the payment and finalization/confirmation emails of your order have been processed to create your purchase. All items will be shipped once they are finished. For specialty items, please allow 2 to 3 business days for processing and shipping. If you are ordering more than one item, all items will ship together. I give you the same guidelines to care for your purchases that I use to care for pieces I've made for myself and my son: hand wash only! It's so easy for a crocheted item to come unraveled if it gets hooked onto something, especially in the washing machine. Many items are also made with different colors and some may run, which could cause your sweet treat to look like a hot mess. Spot cleaning is your friend, along with mild detergents (my preferred is Dreft, which is used primarily for infant clothing). If you prefer another detergent, please keep in mind that if it has any color to it, it may stain your piece - so keep it clear. If you absolutely must wash your items in a washing machine (which I still warn against!!!), you have to - no questions asked - place your items separately in either a clean, tied pillow case or a mesh laundry bag on the Delicate cycle. Under no circumstances should your items go in the dryer, as they could shrink. Air drying after hand washing is the way to keep your items looking sweet!
In this case, there are two scenarios: items that will not be refunded and items that will be refunded 100% (please see Terms and Conditions). These scenarios are as follows: Items that will be refunded 100% must fit ALL of the following criteria: Returned within 15 days of receipt (with notification to me); Clean; Unwashed; Unworn/Unused; No odors. Items that will not be refunded: Worn; Used; Stained; Unraveled/damaged due to improper care; Odor of any kind
Absolutely! Exchanges fall under the same guidelines as returns. The items have to be in pristine condition - unworn, unused, no odors, in tact, and unwashed. If your item would be accepted as a return, it will be accepted as an exchange. Exchanges follow a similar process as returns. If you are exchanging your item for something that costs more, you will be required to pay the difference in price. If the item is being exchanged for something that is less in price, I will refund you the difference in cost. Again, if you are looking to make an exchange, we will discuss this more in depth in order to clear up any questions you may have.
Almost every purchase will require you to send me a quick email specifying what you want for your item(s). This includes size, colors, styles, and add-ons (buttons, pompoms). Each item is priced to account for differences in sizes, colors and add-ons, so there won't be any surprises later on.
